Moving the Brand Forward
Polartec® Forward Fabric™ Everyone knows that running shoes can be high tech. And sunglasses. And skis. But few people realize just how far fabric technology has come. Since the invention of fleece, Polartec® engineers have constantly redefined what fabric can do. The Polartec® Forward Fabric™ advertising campaign is designed to show how the technology in our fabrics can improve an athlete's performance. The print campaign blends imagery of Polartec® engineers in the lab with outdoor athletes in their environments. In each case, the athlete's comfort or performance is symbolically enhanced by the actions of the Polartec® engineers. Whether it's a cross-country skier getting shelter from a blizzard or a runner being protected in the pouring rain, each ad represents how the technology in our fabrics helps benefit those who use them. The campaign is signed off with a tagline that sums up the motivation of everyone involved with the brand: Polartec® Forward Fabric™.
